The original idea of this logo comes from a beautiful wish — wishing that graduates of BCCSC will always active on world stage. The chosen graphic originate from the ribbon of artistic gymnastics. The connected "2" and "0" not only stated the theme, but also emblem the strong connection between China and Canada.
The maple leaf with "2" as Canadian symbol became the form of light bulb and filament, explained the multiple meaning of "Knowledge", "Inspiration" and "Guidance".
The Great Wall with "0" as Chinese symbol stands for a window. Traditionally Chinese use "cold window（寒窗）" to honor the perseverance of hard study. It also symbolizes the great view of future and dream: "Across the Great Wall we can reach every corner in the world."
